Our Services

We offer the advisory services described in our Form ADV Part 2A, Item 4. Fees are summarized on the Fees page.

Investment management

Ongoing, discretionary portfolio management based on your goals, time horizon, objectives, and risk tolerance. We handle investment selection, asset allocation, rebalancing, and monitoring, and we review accounts with you regularly. Accounts are held at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.

Financial planning

A written plan on the topics that matter to you, such as goals, cash flow, retirement income, investments, risk management, and estate considerations. You decide whether to act on any recommendation, and you are not required to implement it through FTPWC.

Retirement accounts and rollovers

Management of Traditional and Roth IRAs, SEP and SIMPLE IRAs, and other retirement accounts.

A rollover is not right for everyone. If we recommend moving assets out of an employer plan into an IRA we manage, we will earn a fee we might not otherwise earn. That is a conflict of interest. We document why we think a rollover is in your best interest and compare costs and services, and you are never required to roll over.

Retirement plan services for employers (ERISA 3(21))

For 401(k), 403(b), and other qualified plans, FTPWC acts as a limited-scope ERISA 3(21) fiduciary. We help plan sponsors build an investment policy statement, select and monitor investment options, and choose a qualified default investment alternative. We also provide participant education and enrollment meetings. The plan sponsor keeps final decision-making authority.

Some plan sponsors we advise are credit unions that also refer members to FTPWC. See Form ADV Part 2A, Item 14.

Wealth advisors’ coordination service

For clients with more complex affairs, FTPWC can serve as a single point of contact that coordinates your other advisors, such as your tax advisor, trust and estate attorney, trust administrator, aircraft finance provider, and aircraft management company.

Educational seminars

FTPWC presents educational seminars, such as its Retirement & Investment Academy, including at credit union locations. Seminars provide general information only and are not individualized investment advice.
